How to get to Cai Chien Island from Hanoi:
Take any limousine Dcar from Hanoi (most of them are drive on Hight way Hanoi – Mong Cai). Get off at the intersection of Hai Ha bank then take a taxi for another 10 kilometers drive to Ghenh Vo pier for taking a ferry to the island (taxi cost 50.000VND).
Stage 1: Hanoi to Hai Ha - Every one hour from 5.00am to 23.00pm

Stage 2: From the pier to the island – There are two options to get to Cai Chien Island
1st option by speedboat
Duration: 10 minutes
Private one, it costs 400.000VND per ride.
Rideshare, it cost 100.000VND per person.

2nd option by ferry -There are 3 ferries to the island from both sides. The schedule sightly changes depending on tide without prior notice.
Duration: 40 minutes
From Ghenh Vo pier: departing at 7.00am, 11.30am and 17.30pm.
From the island: departing at 6.00am, 10.30am and 16.30pm.

For pedestrian: 25.000VND per person
Motorbike: 50.000VND per person
